The International Nordmetall Colloquium brings together public authorities, agencies, industry and science.
The focus of the presentations is on how research foundations can be transferred into industrial applications.
The conference language is English.

When and where does the colloquium take place?
The International Nordmetall Colloquium takes place every year in December in Chemnitz. We will announce the exact venue in the invitation and the Call for Papers.
How does the colloquium work?
The conference is a two-day event with a welcome evening on the eve of the conference day.
Presentations: Each presenter has 30 minutes. These are divided into approximately 20 to 25 minutes of presentation time and 5 to 10 minutes of discussion time.
Schedule Day 1: 9:00 – 16:30 Presentations, lunch break, coffee breaks, followed by conference dinner 17:00 – 23:00
Schedule Day 2: 9:00 – 12:30 Presentations, coffee break, followed by lunch, departure
How do you submit your abstract?
In the Call for Papers, we publish the thematic focus of the conference. We look forward to your exciting presentation. Please submit your abstract as a PDF by email to the contact address or as an upload via the registration page.
How are the conference presentations selected?
After the deadline, our jury selects the conference presentations from the submitted abstracts. Then we will inform you.
What happens to the presentations after the colloquium?
Participants of the colloquium receive “Public-Versions” of the presentations for download.
